Antique Japanese room screen or divider from the Meiji period,This fine Japanese screen was made from rice paper taken from boxes and hand painted between 1870 to 1880. This hand painted Japanese screen depicts flowers and birds in trees. This four panel screen measures 84 inches high. Excellent original condition in a lovely silver color.

Contemporary Japanese Raku style Pottery, this contemporary Raku style Japanese pottery vase measures 10 inches high and 6 inches wide.The top opening measures 4 inches. This contemporary Japanese pottery vase is signed on its base but we can not make out the mark. The condition is excellent with a wonderful scorched copper color to its body with a glassy drip glaze

Japanese antique burl wood storage or sewing box. This "Antique Japanese Personal Storage Box circa 1900" measures 10 inches high, 7 and one half inches deep, and 12 inches wide. This antique Japanese box has a hinged top that opens to 3 and one half inches deep and has 5 drawers. In excellent condition, it is made of a beautiful burl wood, called tama moku.

Japanese Woodblock Print, Vintage Japanese Woodblock Print, Japanese Woodblock. This "Vintage Japanese Woodblock Print of a misty landscape" measures 15 and five eighths inches wide by 20 and five eighths inches tall outside of the frame and the images of this Japanese Woodblock print of a misty landscape measures 10 inches wide by 14 and one half inches tall.This print appears to be one of the Shin Hanga movement. Landscape prints of this movement tried to capture the beauty of the Japanese landscape in the types of subdued tones and colors that would appeal to westerners. Landscape prints from the Shin Hanga movement were extremely popular and highly prized among collectors in Europe and America. Famous print artists who would have been contemporaries of this prints artist are: Kawase Hasui, Hiroshi Yoshida, Shiro Kazamatsu and Tsuchiya Koitsu.
