Erotic okimono couple caught in act of love Item # 1589 Unusual Japanese okimono carving.This okimono carving is unique with its sliding door.Slide open the door and two people are caught in the act of love. Wonderful carving detail. Measures 2 and one quarter inches long by 7/8inches long. Signed by the artist on base. This wonderful okimono carving came to us from an Essex CT estate along with eight other netsuke and okimono. They were purchased in New York on Madison Ave at a high end shop in the 1960s. Antique Japanese Bronze Vase with Dragon Item # 2212 This "Antique Japanese Bronze Vase" measures 7 inches at its widest point. The mouth of this Japanese bronze vase measures 5 and three quarter inches across, is 4 and one half inches wide at the bast and is 12 inches high. This antique Japanese bronze vase has a dragon going around the vase and is signed on the bottom. There was also a hole drilled in the bottom for this antique bronze vase to be turned into a lamp.
